Learning numbers in Turkish is one of the easiest thing. Because we don’t have exceptions like eleven,twelve. It is really logical for a math person.
0 - Sıfır
1 - Bir
2 - İki
3 - Üç
4 - Dört
5 - Beş
6 - Altı
7 - Yedi
8 - Sekiz
9 - Dokuz
10 - On
20 - Yirmi
30 - Otuz
40 - Kırk
50 - Elli
60 - Altmış
70 - Yetmiş
80 - Seksen
90 - Doksan
100 - Yüz
1000 - Bin
1000000 - Milyon
1000000000 - Milyar
All you need to do is memorize these numbers first. And dissolve the number and read the numbers in order. Let’s see some examples.
14= 10+4= On dört
18 =10+8 = On sekiz
43 = 40+3= Kırk üç
96= 90+6= Doksan altı
22 =20+2= Yirmi iki
126 =100+20+6 = yüz yirmi altı
1453=1000+4*100+50+3 = bin dörtyüz elli üç
133292=133*1000+2*100+90+2 = yüz otuz üç BİN iki YÜZ doksan iki
1987267=1000000+987*1000+2*100+60+7 =Bir milyon dokuz yüz seksen yedi BİN iki yüz altmış yedi

Best exercise for this is to read signs in the walls,busses,metro stations etc.

you wrote once “dörtyüz” for 400, and then “iki yüz” for 200. So I don’t understand, is it divided by SPACE or no? is 800 sekizyüz or sekiz yüz ?
